Anita Marci has worked as a published professional artist for
celebrities and for some of the world’s largest companies
including: Estee Lauder, Elizabeth Arden, Lever Brothers’
Caress Soap, Kleenex, and Springmaid Comforters. She has
designed everything from boxer shorts to buildings.
Upon receipt of her Bachelor of Fine Art degree in 1982, Anita began a successful twenty year career
in New York City. Anita Marci Studios was founded in 1985. Her Park Avenue Art Studio remained
open until 1998. She then focused on Fine Art Instruction and soon had long waiting lists of hopeful art
students and a thriving business.
In 2003, Anita moved to Maui, HI where she joined the staff of instructors at The Art School at
Kapalua and the Hui No’eau Visual Arts Center. She immediately began to build her career with
commissions: fine art, design, decorating, murals, and faux finishing. Some of her projects have
included: full figure portraits, pet paintings, abstracts, landscapes and florals in watercolor, acrylic,
and mixed media.
Anita excels at making Custom Fine Art to fit a specific environment – complimenting furnishings, wall
colors and fabrics. Her extensive professional background has provided her with exceptional
communication and organizational skills as well as vast and varied artistic experience.
